# Treebones 3D Map: groundwork + hand-off pack (2026-10-22)
**What:** the pieces for json's local crew to build a mobile-first, tilt-shift "miniature diorama" web map of Treebones Resort (tap a unit, the camera flies to it), plus a 2D fallback and an app later. **Nothing has been built, deployed, posted, or sent, and Treebones hasn't been contacted.**

**Official map: FOUND.** https://www.treebonesresort.com/faqs/resort-map/ → `sources/TBR-Resort-Map.webp` (2560×2012, hand-drawn, ocean at top, not to scale). No PDF exists on the site.

**Gaps:** The Cove, the 2 autonomous tents, and campsites 103–105 aren't placed on the official map. No public whole-resort drone footage. Photo rights are unconfirmed. json's Treebones doc hasn't arrived. All imagery predates the 2026 Plaskett Fire.
**Next step for the crew:** build v0 (2D clickable official map from `units.draft.json`) and test it on iPhone Safari and desktop. Georeference per AERIAL.md once json confirms the units.
