# Open questions for json
Ordered by how much they block. Treebones is only contacted by json, never by the crew.

## Top 3 (blocking)
1. **Where are the units that the official map doesn't place?** The Cove (bookable, not on the map at all), the **2 autonomous tents** (the map says "Autonomous Tent", singular, as an off-map arrow), and **campsites 103/104/105** (arrow only). Need positions from your Treebones doc, a drone pass, or a marked-up map. Also: is there a newer official map than the 2026/04 webp, ideally a vector or PDF?
2. **Photo and video rights.** Will John Handy OK using the site photos (PHOTO-INDEX.csv)? Who owns the third-party shots: the Two Feathers Collaboration videos, the "20NEST_SPAN-superJumbo" Nest photo (looks like a press photo), and photographer-credited images? Can we get the original files and the full drone footage (the drone opening of "The Story of Treebones Resort", the Cove aerial)?
3. **Your Treebones material doc and drone footage.** When do they arrive, and what's in them (unit list, positions, copy, brand colours/fonts, logo use)? v1 waits on this. v0 (2D) can start now.

## Units and content
4. Campsites: the site says **"4 spots"** but the map numbers **5 (101–105)**. Which are live?
5. Which two yurts are the 4-person **family yurts**? Do yurt numbers on the map still match the numbers guests are given?
6. What is the **unlabeled round structure east of Yurt 14** on the official map?
7. **Wild Coast Sushi** isn't on the map (site: "just behind The Lodge"). Give it its own pin or fold it into the Lodge?
8. The **Lawn Bowl Deck** (yoga) and the **redwood yoga studio** aren't labeled on the map. Is the yoga studio the same building as the Massage Studio (the yoga FAQ says both)? Include them?
9. **Red Door Studio**: what is it, and should guests see it?
10. Viewpoints (**Whale Watch Ridge, Hart's Rock**) and the Organic Garden: clickable or just labeled?
11. **Owner's Home / private road**: show as anonymous scenery, or leave out entirely?
12. Trails: the map shows unnamed cart and footpaths only. Are there named on-property trails we should show?
13. Any changes since the **Plaskett Fire (Aug–Sep 2026)**? Burned ridges, removed or added structures? All public imagery predates it.

## Booking and links
14. Booking is one resort-wide WebRez engine (`secure.webrez.com/hotel/94/`). Does Treebones have **per-unit deep links** (room-type params) they want used? Same for Tock (Lodge, Sushi, Bento) and massage booking.
15. Should "Book" open WebRez directly or go to the treebonesresort.com unit page first?

## Product decisions
16. **Domain and hosting**: subdomain of treebonesresort.com (e.g. map.treebonesresort.com), embedded on the existing /faqs/resort-map/ page, or a jkca domain for the preview?
17. Who approves the art direction (palette, golden hour vs dusk default, twinkle level): you, the Handys, or both?
18. Scope of v1: all 16 yurts + specialty units + amenities, or a hero subset first?
19. App (v2): Capacitor wrap of the web build, or native? Is offline needed (no cell service on property)?
20. Analytics or tracking: any, or none?
21. Languages: English only?
